Takhian Tia Subdistrict Municipality, Chonburi, on October 7th, 2026, delivered adult diapers to the homes of 38 residents with dependency needs or urinary or fecal incontinence, in a joint operation with the municipality’s local health security fund.
The Public Health and Environment Division carried out the home deliveries so that the target group would receive continuous, area-wide support rather than having to collect supplies at a central point.
The distribution is part of the fiscal year 2026 project supporting adult diapers for dependent persons and people with incontinence. Funding from the National Health Security Office (NHSO) covers adult diapers, incontinence pads, and alternative diaper products, designed at reducing household costs and supporting quality of life.
Narongrit Prasitnak, municipal clerk acting as mayor of Takhian Tia Subdistrict Municipality, joined the operation with Chief Petty Officer Apichettha Sitthithongyu, head of the public health service section; Siriwan Anantapreechasri, deputy municipal clerk; Dr. Songwut Prakobtham, president of the municipal council; council members; heads of municipal offices; members of the local health security fund committee; and related staff.
Also taking part were Dr. Malinee Singhasuwich, a Chonburi provincial councilor, and her working team, along with the Takhian Tia women’s power group, led by Dr. Supaporn Prakobtham, chair of the subdistrict women’s development committee. Village heads, assistant community leaders, and other local officials joined to help the deliveries reach households in an orderly way.
The municipality said the activity puts residents at the center, particularly dependent people and the families who care for them, so that health support reaches the home and improves daily life in a practical way.
