On Saturday, September 26th, the rain would not stop. A delegation from the Rotary Club Global Pattaya did not let this stop them and visited the Take Care Kids Thailand children’s home under the leadership of President Brett Beadleson. The members brought food and a new washing machine.
On site they got to know the children and their caregivers. The home offers children a protected place where they experience care and security.
Take Care Kids Thailand was founded in 2006. The organisation supports children and single mothers who have experienced violence, abuse or human trafficking. Even after the stay in the home, she continues to accompany the mothers: She helps with the education of their children and in the search for work. Volunteers also visit needy families in the Pattaya area and bring food, clothing and other daily necessities.
It continued to rain outside. Inside, the Rotarians found the sunshine in the children’s faces.
