PTT Public Company Limited held a corporate social responsibility activity for the Redemptorist Foundation for People with Disabilities, advancing support for social-enterprise knowledge designed at improving the quality of life of people with disabilities.
The event took place at the ROH meeting room, where Father Sukhum Thanasigh, president of the Redemptorist Foundation for People with Disabilities, welcomed Ms. Piyaporn Thanangtheerapong, Assistant Chief Executive Officer of the Office of the President and Company Secretary of PTT Public Company Limited. She was accompanied by Mr. Manop Iamsa-ard, manager of Ray Social Enterprise Co., Ltd., and Mr. Songsak Reehung, office manager of the foundation. Staff from PTT’s relevant business unit also joined the 2026 CSR activity.
After the foundation president welcomed the PTT group delegation, Mr. Manop Iamsa-ard introduced the foundation and outlined its overall mission, with an emphasis on social enterprise as a means of raising the quality of life of people with disabilities. The approach focuses on creating stable occupations and income, opening suitable job opportunities matched to individual potential, and reducing the barriers of social prejudice. It also aims to help people with disabilities support themselves and their families, lessen dependence, and narrow economic inequality.
The foundation provides specialized training in areas such as call-center services, information technology system development, and transport-system management, so that participants gain skills aligned with labor-market demand. The goal is to build acceptance and shift public perceptions—from viewing people with disabilities as recipients of assistance to recognizing them as contributors of value and participants in the economy.
The group later traveled to the Redemptorist Conference Center in Pattaya to present wheelchairs along with consumer and household supplies to the foundation. Father Sukhum Thanasigh received the donations on behalf of the foundation, for use in support of people with disabilities under its care.
