Rayong: Pluak Daeng Police Station has taken over a new investigation command centre paid for by a local company, replacing a room the donor said was too small for the work.
Siriporn Kanoksuwannakul, known as Mae Tai, chair and founder of Phadang Group 2019 Co., Ltd., handed the building over on October 9th. Pol. Maj. Gen. Pramote Ngampradit, commander of Rayong Provincial Police, presided. Pol. Col. Nawin Sinthurat, superintendent of Pluak Daeng Police Station, and Pol. Lt. Col. Suchat Dusadee, deputy superintendent for investigation, received it.
Siriporn said the project started after a visit to the existing investigation room, where desks were packed together and the work was not separated by function. After talks with station commanders, the plan grew from a single room into a command centre. It was built on the station’s former shooting range, which was no longer in use and which the police allowed the company to develop.
The building has an investigation work area, a large meeting room, rest rooms, and a canteen, intended for cases that run through the day or overnight. Siriporn said the goal was a place where officers can plan and share information, not only a new structure, and that it should remain available to the station after the current commanders move on.
Phadang Group 2019 is a Rayong company registered in December 2019. Its registered business is wholesale trading in industrial residue and scrap for recycling, and it is based in Mab Yang Phon, Pluak Daeng, the same subdistrict as the station. The company did not give the construction cost or the floor area. The handover was a private donation. Police did not announce a change in staffing or caseload tied to the opening.
