Chachoengsao-
Pattaya tourist police and Indian Community Eastern have delivered drinking water, medicine and dry food to communities in Chachoengsao province after flooding left residents and foreign nationals stranded, showing they assist everyone who needs help even in different areas.
Officers from Tourist Police Sub-Division 4, Division 2, Bureau 1, responded after calls to the 1155 hotline from foreigners living in the Phanom Sarakham district who said floodwater had surrounded their homes and they needed to evacuate. Police coordinated with Phanom Sarakham rescue volunteers to assist them.
Local checks found high water across several areas, with some households reachable only by boat or high-clearance vehicles.
Pol. Lt. Col. Apichat Jarurak, superintendent of the sub-division, led investigators and a drone unit into the flood zone with basic relief supplies. The India Community Eastern also contributed dry food. The team first stopped at a relief point in Hua Samrong sub-district, Plaeng Yao district, where they met community leaders and distributed water, dry food and medicine to affected households.
They then moved to a second relief point in Ko Khanun sub-district, Phanom Sarakham district. There they worked with community leaders and local rescue volunteers to deliver the same supplies. In places where water was too deep for vehicles, crews used boats to reach homes. Drones were also flown over the area to broadcast announcements and pass information to residents cut off by the flood.
