Pattaya Mayor Poramese Ngampichet and city executives opened the Pattaya Halloween Festival 2026 at 7:00 p.m. on October 31st on Walking Street, part of efforts to stimulate the tourism atmosphere and grassroots economic activity on Halloween night.
The festival was organised by Pattaya City in cooperation with the Night Entertainment Business Operators Association. Its main objectives are to draw Thai and foreign tourists, especially younger visitors, into the area so that spending benefits related sectors including hotels, restaurants, shops, transport and services, while also promoting newer, more colourful forms of tourism for the city.
Activities along Walking Street included a creative Halloween-themed fancy parade, a contest for the best costumes, music performances and extensive light, colour and sound decorations prepared by shops, beer bars and entertainment venues that joined the festival.
The Halloween Festival took place on the same evening as other Halloween-themed events in Pattaya, including the 10th International Bikini Beach Race on Pattaya Beach.
City officials described the festival as one of several creative events intended to support local businesses and present Pattaya as a destination offering varied visitor experiences.
