PATTAYA: Deputy Mayor Wuttisak Roemkitsakarn chaired a meeting of Pattaya City’s Administration Division at 3:30 p.m. on the 21st of September 2026 in Meeting Room 231 at Pattaya City Hall, calling on agencies to work in the same direction so city operations serve residents more effectively.
Advisors to the mayor, members of the mayor’s working team, heads of government offices and relevant officials attended. Before the session began, newly appointed officials and staff reassigned within the Administration Division were introduced. The deputy mayor congratulated them, offered guidance and set out policy for the division, urging every unit to keep moving work forward for the public good.
He invited all agencies to raise problems together so Pattaya’s overall work would be efficient and consistent. Key issues discussed included:
Odd-even parking on South Pattaya Road.
Officials reviewed progress on the odd-even parking scheme. The deputy mayor instructed officers to keep enforcement strict and continuous so traffic remains orderly and safe.
Line marking and beach-road parking rules.
Work continues on painting lines under the Pattaya Parking Regulation Act B.E. 2567 and on a further city announcement covering beach-road parking. Some locations still cannot proceed until all parties inspect the sites again. Officials were told to report any missing equipment so the effort can move ahead in a serious, lasting way.
Patrols and digital fines.
The Peacekeeping Division reported on patrols of risk points using QR codes. A system under development will also cover parking regulations and allow fines to be paid by scanning a code versus potential long visits to a police station or city hall, with money going directly into the Pattaya Finance Office account. The goal is speed, convenience, and easier checks.
Beach umbrellas and water-sport boats.
Arrangement of seawalker operations on the beach is complete, with a registration announcement expected soon. Regulation of other vessels, including boats, jet skis and speedboats, will continue alongside rules on umbrella placement and operating permits.
Homeless gatherings on holidays.
The Social Welfare Office said reports of people without homes gathering and causing nuisance on holidays should first go through the working group’s LINE chat. The approach is coordinated with all relevant agencies and the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security. Staff will take reports and liaise with Pattaya Police Station around the clock, including weekends and after office hours.
The deputy mayor also stressed preparations for the ceremony to receive royal gift money bags and the exchange of royal gift money bags of the Mother of the Land Fund, scheduled for the 24th of September at Ban Suan Municipality.
He again called for tighter, ongoing regulation across Pattaya, especially illegal rental of beach chairs, private use of public space, homelessness and parking, so the city stays orderly, safer and more livable as a sustainable destination for residents and visitors.
