The Eastern Region qualifier will be held from October 15 to 24, 2026, at the Phraeksa Subdistrict Municipality sports stadium in the Samut Prakan province. Winning teams and athletes will advance to the national finals in Chiang Mai in January 2027, hosted by Chiang Mai City Municipality.
This year Pattaya will field competitors in 14 sports for both boys and girls across age groups: football, futsal, indoor volleyball, beach volleyball, petanque, badminton, sepak takraw, Thai checkers, Thai chess, Go (as a demonstration sport), teqball, balance-bike cycling, athletics, and esports (ROV). The contingent, drawn from schools under the city administration and including athletes, coaches, and support staff, totals 550 people.
Deputy Mayor Krisana stressed that the safety of the athletes must be the top priority in every aspect of the trip, including travel, accommodation, and training. He also instructed officials to ensure meals meet proper nutritional standards so competitors are physically and mentally prepared to perform at their best and bring recognition to Pattaya.
Pattaya will hold a send-off ceremony to encourage the athletes and coaching staff on Wednesday, October 14th, 2026, at Pattaya City School 2 (Charoenrat Uthit) before the team departs for the stadium in Samut Prakan.
