PATTAYA: Pattaya Mayor Poramese Ngamphichet on Thursday presided over a ceremony honoring 15 city officials who are retiring this year, thanking them for their dedication and lasting contributions to the city.
The event was held at the Thapphraya Meeting Room at Pattaya City Hall. The honorees included six Pattaya City employees, five city school teachers, and four permanent staff members.
Mayor Ngamphichet said he was honored to chair the annual retirement appreciation ceremony. He praised the retirees for their integrity, sacrifice, determination and hard work, both in official duties and in less visible efforts that continue to benefit the city’s administration.
He also expressed pride on behalf of the retirees’ families, relatives and colleagues. Their years of service, he said, form an important foundation for making Pattaya more efficient and effective. He compared their work to a large tree whose branches provide shade for the next generation and a path for younger officials to follow.
The mayor added that those bonds of service have been passed down from one generation to the next. From October 1st onward, he said, the retirees will stand as role models in both work and life, and their stories will remain in the memory of the city.
