Pattaya Advances 3-Year Manpower and Staff Development Plans

PATTAYA: On September 11th, 2026, Deputy Mayor Wuthisak Rermkijakarn chaired the second meeting of the committee drafting Pattaya City’s three-year manpower plan and the committee preparing the city’s employee development plan for fiscal years 2027–2029. The meeting was held in Room 242 at Pattaya City Hall.

Department heads attended, led by Mr. Theerasak Jatupong and Deputy City Clerk Weerapat Kutthalang, together with committee members and relevant officials. The session focused on aligning the manpower plan with Pattaya’s missions and organizational structure, and on developing staff knowledge, skills, and capabilities to meet current and future responsibilities.

City officials said Pattaya wants to manage staffing levels and personnel development in line with its missions and long-term direction. The goal is for employees at every level to perform at full potential and help position Pattaya as a high-quality tourist destination with efficient administration that meets the needs of residents and visitors across all areas.

Deputy Mayor Wuthisak stressed that building staff capacity must go hand in hand with manpower planning so personnel can work effectively and help drive Pattaya’s development as an efficient tourism city that serves the public in every dimension. He expressed hope that the plans would deliver broad public benefit.
