ที่มา: The Pattaya News

Police in Chonburi seized about 2,800 ketamine vape pods, a handgun and methamphetamine pills after chasing a suspicious car and raiding a production site in Sri Racha, arresting a 27-year-old Myanmar national.

On October 5th, 2026, Pol. Col. Sarawut Nuchanart, chief of Banglamung Police Station, led an expanded operation with Pol. Lt. Col. Yongyuth Wan-nuea, deputy superintendent for investigation, Pol. Lt. Col. Wutthipong Kasa, an investigation inspector, and a team of investigators targeting a network producing and selling ketamine-laced vape pods, known locally as “pod K.”

The case began when Banglamung investigators spotted a suspicious car and tried to stop it for inspection. The driver accelerated and fled. Officers pursued the vehicle until the driver lost control and mounted the road median. A search of the car turned up three vape-pod heads, which were seized as evidence, and investigators began tracing the supply chain.

Follow-up inquiries and an undercover buy led police to a large, secluded house in the Bang Phra subdistrict, Officers used a drone to map access routes, then entered with an informant guiding them to a house in Village 11.

Inside, police found what they described as a production and packaging site. About 2,800 pod heads, packed in sachets with various flavors and ready for distribution, were seized, along with chemicals and liquids officers said were used in production and a large number of additional pods prepared for filling.

The search also recovered 28 methamphetamine pills, a .380-caliber handgun with six rounds of ammunition, and other items.

Officers detained Ye Hat Yo, 27, a Myanmar national found at the house. He told investigators the pod heads, methamphetamine and firearm belonged to him, and said he had received the gun from a person named “Ton.” A urine test returned a purple result, indicating a positive drug reading.

Police transferred the suspect and the seized items to investigators at Pattaya City Police Station and Sri Racha Police Station to face charges according to jurisdiction and the applicable offenses.
