Prachuap Marathon 2027 will take place on 27–28 February, with four distances on offer, including a free 5km fun run.
The two-day event in Prachuap Khiri Khan will begin with the fun run on Saturday evening, followed by the 10km, half marathon and full marathon early on Sunday.
The announced distances and start times are:
- 5km fun run: Saturday 27 February at 5.30pm. Entry is free.
- 10km: Sunday 28 February at 5am.
- 21km half marathon: Sunday 28 February at 4.30am.
- 42km full marathon: Sunday 28 February at 3am.
Held under the theme “Run the Coast, Feel the Story”, the event aims to attract runners and visitors from Thailand and overseas while encouraging them to explore the area.
Promotional material highlights Ao Prachuap, Saranwithi Bridge, the beachfront roads, Ao Noi and Ao Manao, alongside local food, communities and cultural attractions. Full course details are expected in further announcements.
Race shirts will feature designs inspired by the province’s coastline and natural surroundings. Finisher shirts are planned for runners who complete the half marathon and full marathon, with medals announced for all four distances.
Organisers say the event is intended to support sports tourism and generate income for local hotels, restaurants, shops and tourism businesses.
