More than 1,700 Thai and international runners took part in RUN WITH THE FLOW 2026 in Hua Hin on Sunday, 25 October, supporting heart and brain health and raising funds to help disadvantaged patients access medical treatment.

The charity run, presented by Bangkok Hospital, returned to Suan Son Pradiphat for its third year, with Prachuap Khiri Khan Deputy Governor Preeda Sukjai presiding over the opening.

Participants competed over distances of 5km, 10km and 21km, with the half marathon introduced for the first time at the Hua Hin event.

Dr Asawin Phuwathanasarn, director of Bangkok Hospital Hua Hin, said the event aimed to encourage regular exercise and raise awareness of the importance of looking after heart and brain health.

“Runner safety is our main priority,” he said.

Doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals joined the runners along the course, with a medical team available to provide care throughout the event.

A portion of the proceeds after expenses will be donated to the Vejdusit Foundation, under the royal patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Galyani Vadhana, to support medical treatment for disadvantaged patients.

Those attending included Dr Paramaporn Prasarttong-Osoth, president and senior group chief executive officer, Group 1, of Bangkok Dusit Medical Services; Bangkok Airways president Puttipong Prasarttong-Osoth; and Muang Thai Life Assurance chief executive Sara Lamsam.

Local government, military and tourism representatives also attended, including Pranburi District Chief Ram Singhasophit and Hua Hin–Cha-am Tourism Business Association president Kittipong Siriphetkasem.
