The Meteorological Department issued its second announcement on heavy to very heavy rain across Thailand, warning of impacts from 9–13 October 2026.
From 9–13 October, Thailand will experience unsettled weather, with thunderstorms, strong winds, hail and heavy to very heavy rain in some areas.
The weather conditions are due to a high-pressure system or cool air mass from China spreading over upper Thailand during the late rainy season, while the monsoon trough will lie across the upper South.
